Florence Bat

Florence Bat was a visiting friend from Summer 2026! She has also visited Hazel Village in 2023 and 2024.

Sometimes, gliding among the starlit trees, Florence hears the soft wavelets of a forest pool. And sometimes she settles by the mossy bank for a minute, snacking on night bugs and thinking about this and that: her cozy cave, when the moon will rise, her new hat with flowers on it.

    Our New Favorite Noctural Companion

Florence was instantly loved upon reaching our house. She was informed about everything she had “missed” in our lives up until then and has been snuggled every day since! She is a Favorite and is so beautifully made.

    The Villages “Spooky” Visitor

Florence comes to visit the village each year around “spooky season” but there is nothing spooky about this beauty. She’s in my top five favorite Hazel Village friends and my very favorite winged visitor. Hazel Village nailed her design, they included all of the easily identifiable bat features while still keeping her “cute” (that’s not an easy task for an animal that many aren’t fond of). She is crafted of soft, yet sturdy, textiles and brings a new wardrobe each year when she comes to visit, including colors that highlight her black & brown coloring. Basically she is perfection…..if you have a little bat lover in your life, looking for an addition to a Boo basket or just want to add to someone’s already existing collection….she’d be an amazing gift. I end up purchasing Florence, for gift giving, each time she visits as I have a list of little loved ones that she’s perfect for❤️

    Florence is adorable

I’m very happy with Florence, who I purchased on a whim. I made a little outfit for her and she looks very cute as Halloween decor. (She will be staying out after Halloween; too cute to pack away.)
